Freshies!

First and foremost, welcome to SPU!
I'm sure you guys are looking forward for your first training session with us.
To give you a head start on how Ultimate is played and done, there is a video directly below showing you the highlights of what can happen in Ultimate.

The video will not only give you insight on how the sport is played, but actually how extreme Ultimate is.
It isn't called Ultimate for a reason.

Anyway, side note, do come here regularly to check about the updates of the blog because we can't possibly notify each and every one of you via SMS, yes?

Introductions aside, let's get down to business.
Firstly, right below, click on the link and check whether your name is inside.
If your name is not inside, then send me your particulars and I will edit the spread sheet.
At any point of time, please do not edit the spread sheet by yourself.

And we'll be having you guys coming in by batches of 80.
So it's gonna be 80, 80, 80 and 78.
So the first 80, your first session will be on a Friday, 4th May, 1700 hours.
The next 80, your session will be on a Wednesday, 9th May, 1500 hours.
The 3rd batch of 80, your session will be on a Friday, 11th May, 1700 hours.
And the last batch of 78, your session will be on a Wednesday, 16th May, 1500 hours.
Please do report at least 30 minutes earlier to allow us to be able to do some minor admin stuff.
For those who have lessons past the designated reporting time, please notify us in advance as well.

That said and done, we urge all of you to come down to our normal usual trainings, to just watch and get a feel of how Ultimate is played in SP.
No doubt, there is a batch allocated for every time slot, but no one said you guys can't come down and eye the competition given by your fellow freshies, yes?
And this is your chance to learn a new sport, and to make friends too!

Next, things to bring.
Yes this is very important because it will aid you greatly on the field.
1. Cleats, a.k.a soccer boots.
2. One dark shirt, and one white shirt.
3. Water bottle.
4. A disc, if you have one. (If you do not have one, then you can go ahead and buy a disc)
5. The desire and intensity to want to learn and excel in this sport.

Lastly, I really hope to see all you guys in the field, playing alongside my team mates and I.
And since this is a new start, to a new year, literally, so let's all have a blast playing the sport I love so much!
I hope you guys will have fun during the sessions, and if there's anything you guys have to tell me, please do approach either me or my team mates.
Feedback is very valuable, so yes!
If you have any other questions, you can contact me,
Terence : 81338812

And if you need to purchase a disc, do contact me as well and I will help you purchase one.
Prices might vary from $14 - $20 so please save that sum of money for a disc.
See you guys on the field soon!

Terence
